Friends from Other Flowerpots II

In Friends from Other Flowerpots II: the Interrogation of the Wasp, Beetle and his crew are back to rescue any bugs who fall into the pool. Yet while such water rescues continue, the real rescue of Part II occurs inside the courtroom.

There Wasp stands trial for the murder of Mayfly, a bug with a 24-hour adult lifespan that Wasp meets one morning and loves that same afternoon.

Appointed to defend Wasp at trial is Turtle, Public Defender. A legend in criminal defense law, Turtle must convince a jury of Wasp's peers of two things in this case. First, that natural law trumps written law. And second, that love is still love...even when it ain't pretty. 

David O'Boyle is the author of children's books, novels, and short stories. Illustrator Tan Ngo specializes in concept art for various media. This is David and Tan's seventh children's book together. It is their first collaboration on the Friends from Other Flowerpots series.
