From the Garden

All the projects in this book are inspired by the garden. Flowers, leaves, birds and butterflies are timeless themes that I never get tired of. The cross stitch elements provide colored shapes with a soft feel of the fabric showing through. Feel free to make your own variations of these designs by simplifying or adding more details. Try stitching these patterns onto other projects too. A design for an apron can be put on a tote bag, or a design for a frame can be put on a tea towel and so on. Add your own color palette to suit your personal taste.
