Someone is out to get me. I have a sneaking suspicion it's a certain customer who insists on buying my winter cake all year long.

I mean, what else could he possibly be doing with that many cakes? Selling them on the black market? Tampering with them in some shadowy kitchen lab?

The problem? I'm a hopeless sucker for someone who's charmingly awkward and knows how to give praise.

There's just something about Jokul Frosti I can't quite place-something that lingers long after he leaves. And if there's one thing I am, it's persistent.

And then-because the universe has a sense of humor-he offers to help me decorate Pastries & Potions. No ulterior motive. No suspicious agenda. Just kindness.

I intend to find out exactly what he's hiding... even if I lose my heart in the process.

I've been using a pseudonym ever since she opened her shop. She hasn't caught on. Yet.
