Give a Dog A Bone

In the middle of investigating a rash of burglaries around Twin Rivers, Steelhead County Sheriff's Deputy Duane Lee is confronted by a murder. Like the burglars, the murderer has left little evidence. Then the only witness, the victim's dog, appears in Lee's back yard. Lee quickly realizes the dog is very smart, but how do you interrogate a dog, especially when you are afraid of them? Can Lee overcome his fear and figure out what the animal knows?
