Ganymede – a moon given over to those who refused to relinquish their faith in the One God – was meant to be a failed experiment. Yet, against all odds, it became a place of harmony, where the remnants of Earth's surviving religions coexisted for the first time in human history.
But peace was not what the powers that be had intended. The government of man, the corporations, and the Spirit Council sanctioned the moon heavily, restricting technology, weapons, and travel in the hope that those forced into a pre-spacefaring existence would eventually turn on one another in holy warfare.
When the expected chaos failed to materialize, a new plan was put in motion. Jack Satan, an agent of those in power, was sent to ensure that division and destruction took root – whether the faithful willed it or not. His presence did not go unnoticed, much to the frustration of Pierre Augustin, the officer commanding the small fleet of warships in orbit. To those on the surface, he was Ganymede's gaoler, but even he began to question the true purpose of his mission.
