Published in 1959, Goldfinger is the seventh novel written by Ian Fleming featuring the infamous British Secret Service agent, Commander James Bond. The plot revolves around Bond’s pursuit of Goldfinger, the world’s top gold smuggler and the richest man in England (who also happens to be working with the Soviet assassination agency SMERSH). Goldfinger is followed by For Your Eyes Only.
