Francis is touring with his band, missing Martine and writing songs about her. Meanwhile, Martine has discovered potentially damaging information about a local politician she dislikes. But making the information public could hurt a friendship. This prequel to "The Toe Incident" has Martine figuring out the importance of friendship, even if she hasn't quite grasped how much Francis cares for her.
