Grappling Holds: Chain Wrestling

Shoot Wrestling is considered a "folk Style" of wrestling in Canada, originally termed "Chin Na". It was introduced in Canada in 1987 by Ron Beer and contains elements of Judo, Freestyle Wrestling, Karate, Kick Boxing, and Kung Fu.


Chain Wrestling is defined as sport specific drills in a continuous looping motion. The wrestler is taken to a new level of development in the chain wrestling loop action, learning to perform and escape various holds in the continuous loop.
