This is the true story of a Skye Terrier who became famous in 19th century Edinburgh for guarding his masters grave for 14 years until the dog himself died. A statue to commemorate Bobby was erected after his death. Recent research has raised questions over the validity of this story but I think we should let sleeping dogs lie.
