Let it grow girl, just let it grow... There is nothing more exciting to a high school graduate than packing up her bags and moving on to a life of independence, meeting new friends, and decorating her dorm room. Rhea Santangelo was excited about leaving for college, but the thought of leaving her family was daunting. With a loving father, a one-day old baby brother, and a mother who took care of all of her needs - including the upkeep of her hair - the departure to school seemed bittersweet. With no money or mother present to make the regular trek to the beauty shop, Rhea soon realized that she was not as independent as she thought. Her damaged hair began to fall out at a rapid pace and she had no idea how to take care of the broken pieces that were left.
