Tim DeTellis first went to Haiti in 1983 at the age of eleven when his parents started a mission to the poorest of the poor. He learned the Haitian Creole language and speaks it fluently. At the time of the January 12, 2010 historic earthquake, Tim and his wife Sheryl were in Haiti. Tim DeTellis serves as President of New Missions.
