Cuba. This book is now in two volumes. Volume I describes the trip in December 2000 and January 2001. Volume II describes the trip in December 2017 and January 2018, and highlights differences that occurred on the island in those 17 years.


Not only is it the largest of the Caribbean islands, it is also far superior in terms of natural diversity and the collection of historic places that blow minds of even the most demanding travellers. Cuba has become a tourism hot spot, and yet many visitors tend to allow being confined to tourist enclaves of Varadero and the Cayos. And that is the shame. The island is packed with exceptionally attractive people, who are amongst the friendliest on Earth.


This book describes the author’s personal and unique experiences during his trips to the island. The book contains over 300 original photographs taken during those trips, description of places to see, hints and tips about places to eat, drink and party with the locals.
