Emma Thompson has never stayed in one place for too long but there was a good reason for that. The money she made was under the table doing odd jobs to keep a roof over her head. There was no way to stop thinking about him out there looking for her. She had done some things in her past that she wasn't proud of including cheat and lie to get what she wanted. This small town in the heart of Texas was growing on her. The people were kind but she was always going to have her head on a swivel waiting for the other shoe to drop.
