Heartbreaker

Never finished book. Got to page 152. It needs to have something that makes me not be able to put it down. I have to want to know not just the ending but how it comes to the ending. Seems like it is a good story but nothing that makes me want to keep reading. The story idea seems good but I don't feel I need to know the ending. Something has to happen to keep my interest. Maybe I just didn't connect to the characters. Most books I can't stop reading even though I know what the outcome is going to be. I need to know how the ending comes to be, not just the ending. Even the description of the book is low key. There needs to be something that grabs me and drags me into it, then holds me to the last page. Not sure what's missing as I'm not a writer. Can't really rate it right. Seems more like a good story outline idea that now needs to be written with filler to keep me.
