Hebrew Melodies

Many of Lord Byron's best-known romantic poems, such as "She Walks in Beauty" were originally written as lyrics to accompany Jewish melodies composed and arranged by his friend Isaac Nathan. Originally published together, the poems became more famous and continued to be reprinted, the music all but forgotten.
