Publisher Description

What would you do if the village that you lived in was destroyed? How would you respond? Would you hold the people who destroyed your village accountable? And if so, how? How would you battle the intricacies of international politics and that of the totalitarian regime? Well, this is the question Seim Hu Mywandu has to answer. This is the obstacles he has to face, after all of his close friends and family have been killed by mysterious people.

This book deals with the current human rights issues in Burma and with the regime that continues to destroy villages, kill innocent people, torture, arbitrarily arrest people, and continually violate the laws of the international community. Hengduan Mountains encompasses all of this and deals with the implications of these issues on all perspectives from individual to international.
