HERE I AM

All of my stories are fiction, inspired by real events and real people. I wrote many of the stories the way I wished life had happened. In sharing them, I want to take you back to the place where I grew up: the streets, the triple- Decker homes, and people of Jewish Boston. The book is accompanied by period photos.


About the Author


Linda Goldberg was born in Boston and lived there till she was ten years old. At that time the family moved to Brookline, MA. Wanting to be a writer since she was six, in order to make order out of chaos, she did not start writing till she was forty five. It was then that memories of families, neighbors and friends of Jewish Boston flooded back and onto the pages of HERE I AM.
