Publisher Description
Everyone knows there is no “I” in team, but to Macs Newstead--orgasm-gifting, muscle-filled Navy SEAL hero--there are more important words than team. Words like victory and vanity and selfishness. People say those words like they are a bad thing, but to Macs, they’re simply tools in his highly effective arsenal. When a man’s entire existence revolves around the necessity to end lives, silly, mundane things like second dates or monogamy seem worthy sacrifices.
Downward facing dog or doggy-style--it’s all the same to Teala Smart, a whip-smart yoga instructor. She owns her studio like she owns her life--with focus, positive energy, and pure devotion. That devotion, however, does not trickle into her love life (or more accurately, her lust life.) Relationships are a roadblock to her success. They get in the way and tangle up emotions more than the lotus pose tangles up limbs. Men are best kept just for a night and then released into the wild before feelings get too messy.
HERO HAIR, the second novel of International Bestselling Author Rachel Robinson’s THE REAL SEAL SERIES, is the account of an life-altering journey detailing the awakening of two hollow hearts, both set on taking their own pleasures without any emotional attachment. The ruthless SEAL finally meets an enemy he can’t defeat, and both Macs and Teala find, against their wishes, and despite atrocious circumstances, a chemistry so explosive it leaves nothing but deconstructing love in its wake.
This is the Complete Hero Hair Series by Rachel Robinson.

- [x] "Hero Hair (complete series)" by Rachel Robinson
Book 1 (3.5 stars): I like how this book continues with characters from Ms Robinson’s book ”Black & White Flowers”. Not sure I like either Teala or Macs. I like that they’re honest with each other. As long as Macs can still screw whoever he wants while he waits for the 4th date so he can screw Teala, I can understand why he would continue with the fake relationship, but why doesn’t she screw around with others at same time or lie about not screwing Macs as long as they have photos of 4 dates? She can afford to pay her own way to Vegas as can Macs. The incentive is ridiculous. The premise of the story is kind of stupid. Not sure if I want to read book 2, but I probably will because the other books in the series “Black & White Flowers” and “Life plus 1” were soooo awesome.
Read this book a second time in preparation of reading the complete series and I didn’t like it any better. I’m just not a fan of either of them. Though, each to their own and I can respect that even if I don’t like it. They are perfect for each other though.
Book 2 (4 stars): I REALLY like their honesty concerning their fears about being in a relationship.
Book 3 (3 stars): Book 3 has more depth. Both admit their love and seem happy. Macs gave up easily when Teala went a bit nuts. So much time was wasted. They’re both so stubborn, it’s frustrating.
Their reunion is cheesy.
Aside: if Macs has never brought a woman to his house, why would he have condoms in his nightstand and bathroom drawer? Unless it was in preparation of having Teala over.
Hero hair - complete series
A great series though for a while I did not think the H. E. A would occur. So glad it happened. He was a patient patient man and she's a lucky girl. A great read.
Love this series!!
These books are well written and melt the heart. It’s a true hero love story. I would absolutely LOVE it if it turned into a movie.
