Jersey City PI Marti Wells has seen plenty of bad weather. She has handled the kind that rolls in off the water and the kind that walks through her office door. But when bail bondsman Bear Wachowski hands her a routine skip-trace with a hurricane bearing down on the coast, Marti has no idea she is pulling a thread that runs fifteen years into the past.
