Publisher Description
In the sleepy mountain town of Moon Hollow, Virginia, there is a church with a crooked steeple. No one will say for sure how it got that way, but it’s the reason the whole town gathers every Decoration Day to honor the dead.
This year, there are two fresh graves up on Cemetery Hill, a stranger’s come to town, and the mountain’s song is filled with dark warnings.
The good people of Moon Hollow are about to learn that some secrets are too painful to bear, and some spirits are too restless to stay buried.
Customer Reviews
Excellent!
This is a very suspenseful and spooky story about lies and redemption. The characters are well-developed and believable, as is the setting. There are people you can’t like, people you want to like, mean girls, drunks, loving grannies, and people who lie to themselves and everyone else. In other words, people you meet every day. It’s also a coming of age story where a young woman finally sees beyond herself and learns there’s more to her than she thought possible. And finally, it’s a wake up call for a writer who is so bogged down in self pity he can’t see the wonder around him until it jumps up in his face. It’s a great story and I enjoyed it very much.
