Publisher Description
A warrior who bows to no one.
A man who fears nothing… except losing his freedom.
In the Highlands, love is the one battle neither planned to fight.
The Macinnes sisters are known throughout the Highlands — Heather for her beauty and kindness, Emma for her quiet strength, and Patience for her skill with a blade and her unyielding will.
With her sister Heather still missing, Patience has no patience for delay. Yet instead of continuing the search, she is sent to the lands of Clan McLaud to settle a growing dispute that threatens to erupt into violence. Determined to resolve the matter quickly and return to what truly matters, Patience expects resistance.
She does not expect Hunter McLaud.
Known for his easy charm and reckless ways, Hunter is the last man Patience would trust. Yet beneath his careless reputation lies a mind far sharper than she anticipated — and a solution as bold as it is dangerous.
Marriage.
A union to bind their clans and prevent bloodshed.
Patience agrees — on her terms.
Hunter accepts — on his.
What begins as strategy soon becomes something far more complicated.
Clashing wills ignite.
Pride meets passion.
And in a union neither truly wanted, they discover a connection neither can deny.
But with war still looming and Heather's fate unknown, Patience cannot afford to lose herself to desire.
And Hunter has never been a man to surrender his freedom… or his heart.

Highlander's Rebellious Love (Mcinnes Sisters Trilogy book 2)
I loved Hunter McLaud, I think he has to be my new book boyfriend, he's a charming rogue who has a different woman just about every night of the week, but he also had a very caring and loving heart. And Patience Macinnes was like a warrior princess, in charge of army of warriors, determined to find the Dark Dragon, an evil and dangerous
warrior thought to be responsible for kidnapping her sister Heather.
She is asked to go north by her father to settle a land dispute between the Macinnes and the McLaud. When she arrives Hunter McLaud suggest marriage between them would be the best solution to unite the clans. Patience is not too happy with about it but agrees.
The bickering and banter between the couple is wonderful, but they can't ignore their feelings in the end, and the passion between them can't denied.
This was a great romance full of action and desire. I'm looking forward to Heather's story next.
