Description de l’éditeur
The New York Times and USA Today bestselling start of the epic series…
Sarah Miller hasn’t been home in seven years. She thought she could stay away forever. If it wasn’t for her big brother's wedding, that is. Part of her even feels silly for staying away this long. It's not like anyone even knew what happened. Well, except for him.
That guy. The one she compared all others to. The one who set the bar so high no other guy after him could even compete. The one who made her feel like anything was possible. The one she thought she would never be good enough for. The one she spent the last seven years trying to forget.
All she needs to do is make it through the next week without running into him.

Loved it!
This was one of the first romance books that I had begun reading and I loved it! Oftentimes, the trouble for me when finding a good romance novel is that they are all very cliche, where the prominent male is a CEO and has a perfectly chiseled face with a generous amount of money in his bank account and the girl, too, is perfect and they never thought they’d found love but, surprise surprise, they do. Most often, the plot is very bland, doesn’t exist at all, or is very cliche, but this novel was very different and I loved it for that. Although, I might add a little criticism about the fact that the lead female and male had only separated in the beginning for a very trivial reason. The mother told her to back off and she just went with it and hid for years? Really? And it was so taboo to mention this? But all in all, the novel Ignited much heartfelt emotion and tied up nicely in the end with a happy ending.
Not my favourite book
The back and forth past & present drove me crazy. Way too detailed. Storyline was ok but definitely not worth buying second book.
