His Darkest Deceit

"I stayed up until 2:00 AM reading His Darkest Deceit, and I have been glued to this story all morning! I just finished it and raced to buy book two. I don't know what crack Addison put into these stories, but uhhh, they are SO GOOD! I just loved it!" -Laura Thalassa, WSJ and USA Today bestselling author

Time collapsed when I first saw her. After centuries of loneliness, there she was… mine. Every instinct screamed that she was mine.

Lorieyn a student and I her headmaster. A young woman cannot know what she is to me. Who needs training, discipline, and a worthy education. Who I lie to, lie for, and covertly organize my world around. To assure other males of my kind never learn she exists. Dangerous men—my friends—who would kill one another and challenge me for the chance to claim her first. So, I have told no one I have found my mate. I've erased every trace of her significance and hidden her in plain sight. Pretending that I am not moments away from losing control each time she briefly stands in my presence.

But my restraint has an expiration date.

I govern recruits with precision and necessary cruelty, shaping them into soldiers strong enough to survive on a planet where everything is deadly. For this, she hates me. Because I have been hard on her.

I have to be.

And now that it is time for her to graduate, Lorieyn believes that she is about to be free. A defiant young woman yearning to escape my iron grip. But I cannot let her step outside these grounds, and I will not answer for my actions if she tries.

Insatiable Instinct is a dark duet of forbidden obsession and secrecy, featuring a two-century age gap: he's ageless and world-worn; she is newly adult and inexperienced in their dangerous world. Culminates in a hard-won HEA.

"This book made me want to duct tape you to your computer chair and force you to write while I watched like a literary voyeur. You are a cruel, evil genius, woman!!!!" ~USA Today bestselling author KD Robichaux
