After World War III a new world emerged with new laws and rules. On Josiathan the education of women, teaching of science, and love between men are all taboo.
Joel and Andy were both raised in such a world but when they travel to the foreign country of Retois to train as physicians, they find that their love for each other is stronger than the norms of Josiathan society.
