'His Motto' is a short piece of literary work by Lottie Burrel Dixon that was published as a part of 'The Upward Path' collection book.


The central figure of the story is John Durmont who was tricked into a confession of physical bankruptcy. But still the way out could be found: he took the advice to go the forest Maine… and surprisingly, he liked it.
