Three-to-four-ish Star...but still a rip-off
This is a pretty good story...for .99 an issue. This is where ebooks are deceiving. If this was a printed piece it would be a sad little pile of paper. $1.99 for something no thicker than a paper picnic napkin. Sure, like any good serial each edition ends on a cliff hanger but the price at 1.99 for what is essentially a half hour read (if you read reeeeeeaaalllyyy sllloo...ah, you get it) is quite frankly, a rip-off. I got sucked in up to the fourth book to the tune of around 11 bucks...for an hour and a half's worth of reading. That price usually gets me a juicy and perhaps better read than this, to the tune of 350 to 400 pages. Soooo not cool and so not worth it. If this was the publisher's idea, it was a bad one.
