Though the final reveal feels a bit out of left field, the sizzling sensuality and constant surprises make the journey well worth it. With this captivating mixture of romance and suspense, Enoch sends the series out on a high note.

Witty Banter and a Kilted Hero
I received an ARC of this book to read through NetGalley. All opinions are my own. Hit Me with your Best Scot by Suzanne Enoch is the third book in her delightful Wild Wicked Highlanders Series. I think that you should read the books in order to get the most enjoyment from this book. Coll MacTaggert, Viscount Glendarril, is running out of time to find an English bride. His original plan to find a compliant bride he could marry and then leave behind when he returns to Scotland seems to be less attractive now that his brothers have made matches with women they love. Escaping his mother’s matchmaking machinations leads him to hide out backstage at a theatre where he meets actress Persephone Jones who is the most intelligent, attractive and intriguing woman he’s ever met, but definitely not one his mother would accept as a bride. Witty banter, a dangerous mystery and strong supporting characters made this book one I enjoyed immensely. Steam Level: Medium.
