The family boat is trashed; sixteen-year-old Matt Mahony has a phone in his pocket that doesn’t belong to him; thirteen-year-old Sinclair Mahony is lying in a hospital bed refusing to tell what happened; their dad is sitting in the dark drinking whiskey; and someone is definitely lying. The only thing Matt knows for sure is that when a Mahony brother says, "Hit That and You’re Dead", it’s a guarantee.

Hit That and Your Dead
Really enjoyed this book, it had interesting characters and a good plot that keeps you reading with anticipation of the next twist.
Thoroughly enjoyed this read, looking forward to more from this new author!!
Hooks older readers too
Matt reminds me of a twenty-first century Holden Caulfield, as he tries to find his identity, hoping he isn't like his brothers. His relationship with his family is dysfunctional but when a Mahoney needs help they are all there. There are twists that keep you guessing. Great story.
