Hot as Hell

Harper Searcy is trapped in the U.S. Embassy in Pakistan when it is under terrorist attack. She manages to lock herself in the panic room and call Michael "Mad Dog" Wainwright for help. He and his SEAL team come to rescue her but have several hours of fighting the terrorists before they can get to her. It's still not completely safe for her to come out so Michael locks himself in with her. He'd been trying to reach her after their night together but she'd been avoiding him. He wasn't going to put up with that any more and proceeded to show her how good they were together.

Hot as Hell is a very exciting story that is hard to put down. I love SEAL stories and this one was especially good with the SEAL team saving the day by stopping the terrorists and rescuing Harper. This novella is well written and easy to follow with a great HEA. Harper is a strong, brave woman who handles the attack quite well. Even when her boss locked her out of the office, she didn't freak out. I liked the way Michael was calm, cool and collected while in SEAL mode but wasn't quite so confident of Harper.

This is a good military romance that I recommend.
