LOVE this entire series!

Leather and Lace - This book is set in Lonesome Point, Texas - and I never want to leave! The cover pulled me in with 'cowboy' but I got so much more! Mia meets Sawyer while pulling off a hilarious prank with her friends which sets the tone for this sexy and fun read. I love how they are both real people dealing with life as it is thrown at you. Throw in a ghost town - with real ghosts, a family curse as well as some real danger and that adds up to this 5-star read. I can't wait for Bubba's story!

Saddles and Sin - I fell in love with Lonesome Point, Texas in the first book of the series (Leather and Lace). Saddles and Sin is Bubba's story and it did not disappoint! Bubba is the "good ol' boy" who struggles against family opinion as he pursues his dream of becoming a country singer. The family ranch means everything to his Mom and brothers but he knows he makes a much better singer than cowboy. Bubba takes a vacation from the ranch to secretly work with Marisol who is helping him wade through the obstacles of making his dream a reality. While collaborating on new material and facing perhaps the biggest break in his musical career, family obligations call Bubba back home. Marisol returns to Lonesome Point with him, facing her own memories and demons of life in a small town while unwilling to let Bubba miss out on a once in a lifetime opportunity. Unexpected resistance from his family and haunting memories that won't stay in the past causes Marisol to retreat behind the wall she has built against forming any new relationships.

This story had me cheering all the way through. Bubba is the cowboy one dreams about while Marisol is a strong, empathetic woman – it is fun to watch the sparks fly! Their path is not an easy one. Who can’t relate to family pressures and haunting mistakes that simply won’t be left in the past? I couldn’t put the book down as Bubba and Marisol grew closer despite Bubba's Mom's hostility and the realization that Marisol's past will never be forgotten. A sexy read that made me cheer for the good ol’ boy and the cowgirl!

I love this series created by Jessie Evans with a small town full of strong, handsome cowboys and quirky characters. People with hopes and dreams, with quirks and edges but at the heart of it always - love. And this addition to the series did not disappoint!

Tulsi is raising Clementine alone, hiding the fact that her best friend's brother was her daughter's father. How this came to be is revealed through both Pike and Tulsi's point of view. They love each other - there really is no one else for either of them - but life is rarely that simple or straightforward.

Pike is a talented baseball player who left his hometown years ago, who returned to celebrate his sister's wedding. Not realizing the secret she kept, he realized he never stopped loving Tulsi and was determined to have the life with her he had always dreamed of.
