Wonderful start to a new series on the Texas Cattleman‘s Club, Houston. The characters were very realistic, with a sprinkling of people from previous books tossed in for interest. An intriguing thread of menace runs behind the storyline and I’m sure, will lead us through this series of books. I always enjoy Janice’s stories.
