Why do we need an HSE plan?
The HSE plan is to show compliance with the Law.
The only person who can stop a project is the senior HSE Engineer.
From the top down the starting point for any project is the Corporate Statement signed off by the Chairman or the head of the company.
This statement of compliance demonstrates and ensures the organisations intent to comply with the Law. Under current UK Law a signatory can be held under corporate manslaughter if contravention of the Law is proven.
