Humhucker

Humhucker is a picaresque social comedy, concerning two generations of a family. It may or may not even have something say about the nature of time and the Universe... When young Elsie ran away from her overly strict family in 1946 Ohio, she had no idea she would meet her soulmate, a Zen monk, jazz musicians, several gangsters and a host of others. Nor did she figure her travels would take her to Manhattan, Havana and (after witnessing a murder) back up the East Coast pursued by cops and killers alike. But its when she returned to her little Ohio town to have her cosmically-aware, hermaphroditic child that things really began to stir!
