Eleanor needs all the help she can get from Sheriff Estévan Marés, his brother Tomás, their mother, Anita Marés, and her friend, Maria Suazo.


Set in the late 1880s in the New Mexico Territory, the story is the finale of the Jared Delaney series in which decent, honest folks have to defend their lives and livelihood from the ruthless criminals who would take them. Sometimes, it really is about good versus evil.
