Help a child

The secret is to create and strengthen the association with every object;

Self-love will help the child to accept his/her own value and uniqueness will serve as motivator to be healthy  this will support the concept of strength and inner strength will be expressed as joy  or happiness that can only be arrived at as a decision. This will add to knowledge expressed as wisdom in other words, applied knowledge and the determination not to give up. How to deal with fear and negative thoughts. How to deal with the emotions around loss and sadness like in a divorce for example

It is the author's firm conviction that an inside out approach to life delivers the best and most lasting results over the long term.

A mind filled and occupied with positive imagery has little time and space for negativity. Such a mind also has better ability to deal with setbacks and problems. It will also be easier for this mind to find creative answers for the challenges of life.

Every concept is connected to an everyday object. The "I can" is linked to a soft drink can. Nugi is portrayed on the can. The concept to be affirmed and declared is:  remember Nugi, remember the can and therefore I can. We must realise that a new mind-set will only be fixed with time, patience, practise and repetition.

The technique will be most effective where the story is told to the child and the child is then given the opportunity to verbalise the affirmation for him or herself. For example, after the reading of the mirror story, allow the child to look in the mirror and to let them say "I am pretty" aloud with confidence. Turn it into game

They must be encouraged to continue this practise until the idea becomes automatic to them.

A workbook with practical drawings and letter completion is available. We therefore suggest that you give the child the workbook to help with the exercises.
