I Rode In The Time Machine

At the dance, a man introduced himself to me as H. G. Wells. He said he had searched the world over for me and was happy he found me. He said he was not the real H.G. Wells but was a person whose history of achievements was suspicious. Though born in 1866, he had come to 2017 in a time machine to start a new life and he wanted me to be in it as his wife. This story tells what happened.
