The past comes back to haunt one of Mike Malone's well-loved friends in this latest Lincolnshire mystery. When events take a disturbing turn, Mike and his loyal Detective Sergeant Alan Shepherd are faced with a problem. They have no idea where to look and so Mike has to rely on one of his tried and trusted, and unorthodox methods to solve the problem.
