Or was she keeping a dark secret of an impending disaster that would consume this city? Grant was warned that if could not keep her safe that he must kill her.
So begins the relationship of the captive and her guard in a world where no one can be trusted. There is an event called Illumination which is the end of this world and the beginning of a world without end. The Illuminiods are calling, she can feel there power and when Sara is stressed the ground shakes.
Grant is forced to choose between his ruthless duty and the protection of this woman. He rescues Sara from a certain death and in the process becomes a fugitive.
His team is divided by his decision. His close friend, the Commissioner of Police is determined to hunt him down.
