Immanuel: God With Us

It was the beginning of this New Year 2015. Sue and I had worked together to complete and publish yet another year of WCCC advent readings. Gathering insights, experiences, and traditions of church family members and compiling them as daily devotionals had proven to be an uplifting way for us to employ our gifts.  We ran into each other at church. We learned that we had both sensed this year’s devotions should be based on the Gospel accounts of the birth of Christ. We would write the devotionals based on the scripture and through the eyes of those who experienced the birth of Christ. It would be quite an undertaking, but having mutually received the prompting gave us assurance.
