Impressions

This is a collection of photographs that express my early impressions of three Portuguese cities. This work is a creative process that started when I first moved to Portugal in September of 2015. This process consists of registering what I’m perceiving at the urban spaces while I reflect and develop my PhD thesis in Architecture. This process will continue as it seeks to capture a specific way to see the built environment and follow up the nuances as my research impacts on my sight and how it reflects on my photography. This first Impressions is dedicated to a short journey through Portugal. I hope you enjoy the trip as much I do.
