Melanie S. Weiss, MSN, RNC-MNN, IBCLC has been a registered nurse for over thirty years, certified in maternal-newborn nursing, and is an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant. She is an Adjunct Professor at Adelphi University in Garden City, NY and lives on Long Island, NY with her husband and three sons. Long Island is an area prevalent with ticks and Lyme disease.
