Publisher Description
'In Mr. Knox's Country' is an adventure novel written by Martin Ross and E. Oe. Somerville. The story begins by introducing us to two men central to the story, Flurry Knox and the yet-to-be-named narrator. They were to meet a man named David Courtney at a crossroads, but he was not there. The narrator goes to search for him at the white-washed houses on the hillside, but they are all deserted. He eventually finds a woman sitting in a house shaking with fear and unable to look at him.
