An interesting story to snuggle down with
Great start to a new series
A beautifully woven tale of the relationship between three sisters, memories of their unconventional, deceased parents and the eldest sisters’ steps to provide for her sisters and forge a new life for herself. It is also the tale of a lonely little girl in the care of her loving uncle. Both are struggling to get past their losses. Is Leah simply and out-of-control hellion or a child misunderstood? Will the new governess be able to provide the missing pieces they both need before her young charge succeeds in getting rid of her? I really appreciated how the author let the story unfold slowly, naturally rather than resorting to the all too common instant love and acceptance found in many novels.
