Her life feels like it’s in total upheaval when she suddenly receives notice that her father had a twin named Collin whom Sonya never knew about, who has just died and left her his towering Maine estate. But the dream home comes with some questions—like, why did she never know about Collin, and who is the troubled spirit that keeps opening drawers, banging on doors, and tinkling on the piano downstairs? The moody, gothic atmosphere of this spooky read captivated us right from the start. While the plot mostly follows a standard haunted house template, Roberts's strengths, as usual, are in the details: robust characters, vivid prose, settings familiar enough to be cozy but distinct enough to be memorable, and loyal dogs. It might not break fresh ground, but this will hit the spot for Roberts's many fans.

Excellent book can’t wait for the next
Take it or leave it
The book dragged on and on with needless detail, conversations, two best friends hooking up with two best friends, characters are the same as in so many of her books. Not impressed with this series at all. I’m actually mad at myself for finishing this predictable story.
Holy cow!
Did not expect the cliff hanging ending…. I know it’s a trilogy, but wow, did this ever leave me hanging…. And now to wait til November? Argh!! Couldn’t put it down.
