SOFIA (Bulgaria), October 25 (SeeNews) - The Bulgarian unit of Greek group Titan, Zlatna Panega Cement, plans to decrease the CO2 footprint of its operations by replacing the use of fossil fuels with alternative fuels made from waste, utilising additives and investing in renewable energy, the cement plant's manager, Ioannis Anagnostou, told SeeNews in a recent interview. TITAN Group is an independent multi-regional producer of cement and other related building materials. With a track record of continuous growth since its establishment in Greece 109 years ago, it has expanded its production and distribution operations into 13 countries in Southeast Europe, the U.S. and the Eastern Mediterranean.
