Ian Fleming (1908–1964) was an English author, journalist and naval intelligence officer who is best known for his James Bond series of spy novels. James Bond is a British Secret Service agent and often referred to by his code name, 007.

Great, always great.
I have been a fan of the Bond books since my early teens. I have also been a fan of the movies, well, most of the movie eras.
There is a definite difference between the two media. The books are great adventures and tales where the movies are largely action. I don’t prefer one over the other, though. Reading allows me to make the visuals but the movies let me be a spectator to the visuals. Each are enjoyable in their own way.
The series are well worth a read for fans of James Bond and Ian Fleming.
