Jazz & Blues Drumming

This drumset book was written not only to teach the student the left and right hand independence required to play jazz, but also to illustrate how the percussionist's left hand can play in a more melodic style. Includes sections of exercises to develop swing patterns, left-handed melodic triplets, swing patterns in 12/8 time plus a section of fairly advanced solos combining all of the previously taught elements. Written in standard drumset notation.
