Jim Humble in Europe

Jim Humble’s life has been quite an adventure over the past years, and I have learned from experience that there is no easy way to avoid an adventure when you come into close contact with it.


In March, 2009, a few days before I was scheduled to leave the Dominican Republic, I booked a flight for Jim Humble to fly to Europe. He was going to be my guest for a few days because I was able to arrange for him to give a presentation at a conference in Amsterdam. It fit perfectly into Jim’s travel plans, so he thought, because later in the week he was supposed to fly to Japan. There they planned to test MMS in a hospital and they wanted him to be present during the testing. So after giving the talk in Amsterdam, the plan was for him to continue immediately on to Japan.


However, as it often is in life, things don’t always go as planned, even for someone like Jim Humble. The flight to Europe was booked, however Jim didn’t hear anything more from those individuals who wanted to do testing in the hospital in Japan. When he arrived in Germany with his secretary, Mia Hamel, at the end of March, they had time available until the beginning of June. In other words, nothing scheduled, because the trip to Japan had been cancelled. 


When Jim had finished his lectures in Amsterdam, Moenchengladbach and Prague, I had two options for how I could proceed. Either I could send Jim and Mia back to the Dominican Republic or I could take advantage of the opportunity to have Jim stay with me. Whether it was destiny I don’t know, but right away we had a plan for all the things we could accomplish. Jim was open to all ideas and of course I didn’t want to disappoint him by sitting around idly. There were a lot of people who were interested in Jim and word spread quickly that he would be in Germany for a few weeks.

In only a few days, and with a lot of help from different people, I was able to arrange a whole lecture tour for him. He gave presentations in Holland, Germany, the Czech Republic and on the island of Ibiza. Occasionally, people came to my house to speak with him and get health advice.

It was a very intense time that I was able to spend with him and I felt a lot of energy in everything that we did. Jim Humble is an adventurer, and everyone who comes into contact with him gets to join him in his adventure, whether they want to or not.
