Joey Dunlop

Born on the 25th February 1952 in the town of Ballymoney, Co. Antrim, Northern Ireland, William Joseph Dunlop OBE, MBE, was never a public figure in the mould of modern media promoted sportsmen. Indeed, it was patently obvious as soon as the public spotlight became focused on him, that he preferred the light in his garage while fettling his own machines. This book does not pretend to be a biography of Joey Dunlop, rather, it attempts to chronicle the career of the man who became a legend in racing history, particularly in the Isle of Man TT.
