October 2014…People from the twelfth, eighteenth, and twentieth centuries are appearing in 2014 for reasons no one can explain.

Five years have passed since adult twins Jill and Joanna Mason time-traveled to twelfth-century Sherwood Forest where Jill was briefly engaged to Robin Hood and Joanna solved a murder. Both twins are married now and settling into their roles as portal guardians.

Joanna is pregnant and attending a history symposium in Boston with her husband Liam when she meets two mysterious teenage boys. She also discovers several people from her past are out of their correct time periods, and they all have come in contact with these same two teenagers. Joanna and Liam must race around the globe to return everyone to their proper times and stop the teens from causing more trouble. Joanna believes she knows who these boys really are, but if she’s right, she and Liam may not have a future.

Meanwhile, in England, Jill and her husband Rob are visiting their property in Nottingham when two teenage boys steal the necklace Robin Hood gave her. She also receives a surprising message–Robin Hood needs her help again. Jill is excited to return to Sherwood Forest but nervous about bringing Rob along because neither Rob nor Robin Hood knows how much they look alike. Awkward as this is, the similarity between Jill’s husband and her infamous ex-boyfriend may provide a unique opportunity–or result in unspeakable tragedy.

The future of the Mason family is at stake as Jill and Joanna face their most dangerous foe yet.
